No, not really interested. Neither is hubby. He likes Cricket and Rugby…

You guys did anything nice in this glorious weather? We went to Öeschinensee in Kandersteg. Was fantastic and the views were WOW. Even little man behaved like a human being for a change :roll:

Well, the weekend was brilliant, wasn't it? Our new neighbours had invited erveryone for drinks and snacks on Saturday. We stayed till about 22.30. All the kids were having fun in the unfinished garden. And boy was so tired, he had a lie in till after 8 o'clock on Sunday morning :D

Today was the first visit to kindergarten to see what it's like. Boy seemed to be comfortable enough, especially since one of the kids from Saturday was there to show him -.

Now I have to get on with some packing. We're leaving on Friday

Hey Ladies

How are you all doing? I'm still alive. Love being a mummy and the girls are doing just great. They are really big (around 9 kg each) and most of the time very nice. But they keep me busy. The times when I could put them somewehre and find them exactly there again, are long gone...

@kara
Congratulations! So happy for you!

@fraboo: thanks :D I'm slowly getting used to my bump. Good to read that you and the girls are doing fine. Is 9 kilos big for 6 month olds? I can't remember what our boy was like at that age.

Eva-Christina: congratulations on passing the exams. Are you moving to England?

Me: we're back from Italy, had a brilliant ten days there. I hope the weather will soon pick up here. I want summer. Had another scan yesterday, baby seems to be doing fine.

@kara
no we're actually moving to the czech republic. :-)

@all
thanks for the congratulations! It means a lot to me, that I have finished everything now.....it wasn't easy at all especially with little one around....but I did really well (actually had the best mark of all) it felt as if I was "sticking my finger up" at everyone who laughed at me or made things difficult....

Hy Ladies!

My friend told me yesterday that she's pregnant- yay! :o

I'm really excited and would like to send her a pregnancy book through amazon.com (she lives in the US) as a gift.

Are there any english pregnancy books you would recommend?

Have a great weekend!

Just a quick one: have any of you ever had a canalboat (narrow boat, wide beam) holiday with kids? We went before child, but I'm tempted to go for another one. However, little man is, let's say, quiete inquisitive... and I really don't fancy fishing him out of the water 3 times a day :oops: Obviously he'd have to wear a livewest, but what do you think of the other risks? Too stupid or go for it? Hmmmm :roll:

@mrs. Bee: i think, our boy is quite excited about the whole baby thing. He insists on a sister, though and wanted to buy pink baby socks last week :D

Canal boat holiday: we've never done it,so I don't know what it's like. My parents had a sailing boat, though, and we spent pretty much every weekend and all the summer holidays there. I don't think, I ever fell in, but my brother sometimes forgot where he was and we had to fish him out of the lake. Our boy went onto the boat first, when he was two. We had to watch him, but he seemed to accept the rules ( always life jacket, don't climb, do as you're told).

We're enjoying the nice weather, doing touristy things, like walking into town via Munot and then buy an ice cream in town, but today it's definitely too hot for me.

Have a good weekend!

Kara: Well, you did get the order, so now it's up to you to deliver :wink:

What a good plan to discover your own town as tourists - just the ticket!

I'm still tempted about the whole boat thing, but will have to seriously consider it. Little man's ears don't work very well at the moment, and no is just something the mother-person says but one does not have to listen to :evil: It's making us both not very happy at the moment... (I know, it's only a phase...)

Any ideas on how to get little man to actually walk on a walk and not just let him being pushed around all the time?? Grmpf (and going out without the pram sounds a bit drastic, it was a longish walk)
